Become a Corporate Member

Corporate Membership is open to all multinational companies operating in Europe who abide by the Seldia Codes of Conduct and are members of at least three DSAs in membership of the Association.

Seldia membership provides the opportunity to:

  • gain access to information on EU legislative developments affecting the direct selling industry;
  • influence the EU legislative agenda;
  • benefit from access to Seldia‘s legal expertise in EU affairs;
  • become involved in Seldia’s Legal Affairs committee and so influence its lobbying actions;
  • be part of Seldia’s influential Companies Committee;
  • network with colleagues at European CEO’s meetings;
  • gain access to Seldia website’s private section and its Legal  Compendium;
  • obtain statistical information on direct selling in Europe (statistics);
  • in co-operation with local DSAs become involved in resolving challenging issues

Anna Maria Corazza Bildt, Member of the European Parliament

Anna Maria Corazza Bildt is Member of European Parliament for the European People Party group (EPP) since June 2009.   She is a member of the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee and rapporteur on the retail sector. Anna Maria Corazza Bildt is also Co-founder of ItalianTradition.com, an online retailer.

Magnus Brännström, CEO of Oriflame

Magnus is a Swedish national. He worked for Spendrups Brewery before joining Oriflame as Managing Director of Russia in 1997. He then became Regional Director for CIS, Baltics and Asia. CEO since 2005. He is a graduate of Uppsala University, Sweden.

Alessandro Carlucci, Chairman of WFDSA, CEO of Natura

Alessandro Carlucci started his career as a Marketing & Sales trainee at Natura in 1989. He became President of Natura in 2005. He is Chairman of World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) and Advisor Member of the Board of Redecard. Alessandro Carlucci holds an Master from the  Kellogg School of Management.

German Martinez-Corral, CEO of Stanhome-World

Before joining Stanhome-World in 2009 as CEO, German Martinez-Corral held different positions at Avon Cosmetics. German Martinez-Corral holds Spanish nationality and has a bachelor degree in Business Administration and a master in Law & Economics from the University Pontificia Comillas in Spain.

Anna Segatti, Senior VP, Global Commercial Operations, Avon Cosmetics

Anna started her Avon career in 1978 and was appointed to her current role in April 2012.  In addition Anna oversees Liz Earle, which Avon acquired in 2010. Prior to this Anna was Group Vice President, Western Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Michael Meissner, Vice President Corporate Affairs Europe, Amway

Michael Meissner joined Amway in 2010 as Vice President Corporate Affairs Europe. Before joining Amway, he worked for Diehl Stiftung & Co KG and EADS, the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company and Audi. He graduated from the German Federal Army University and was Officer in the German army.

Tomasz Stanislawski, Group General Manager Emerging Markets, PartyLite

Of Polish nationality, Tomasz Stanislawski has over 18 years of experience in Direct Selling, both in Party Plan and MLM companies. He joined PartyLite in June 2008 as Vice President of CEE Sales Expansion. In 2009 he was appointed Group General Manager, Emerging Markets, developing PartyLite business in CEE and Italy.

Giovanni Paolino, MD Europe, Eismann Group, Chairman of the Italian DSA

Giovanni Paolino started his career at FR Grandi Opere. In 2003 he joined the Swiss company AMC International. He is with Eismann since 2000.


François Failliot, Chairman of the French DSA

François Failliot held several positions at the French Group Yves Rocher including Executive Director of its subsidiary Stanhome World. François Failliot is currently in charge of specific missions for Stanhome World and chairman of the French Direct Selling Association. He holds an MBA from the University Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris.


Francesco Morace, sociologist, journalist and author

Francesco Morace is founder of the research and strategic consulting institute Future Concept Lab (1989), and professor at Domus Academy and Milan’s Politecnico. He has participated in conventions and seminars in 22 different countries around the world. He is Co-founder of the association The Renaissance Link and a regular columnist for Adv, Interni, Mark Up and other specialised international magazines and journals.


Joe Quilter,

Joe Quilter has over 20 years of experience in supporting organisations with blended learning programmes including online eLearning. Joe has also Chaired the International eLearning Awards for three years and is also an Expert Coach for the Charted Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).


Dr. Paolo Balboni,

Director of European Privacy Association and Lawyer admitted at the Bar in Milan specialised in ICT, new technologies law and personal data protection, Paolo Balboni provides legal advice to multinational companies, especially concerning data protection, e-commerce and much more. He also advises celebrities on privacy and copyright matters.


Alessandra Ghio,

Managing Director NSA Italy

After taking a Degree in Law and a short experience in a Public Relations company, in 1994 she approached the Direct Sales industry playing an active role in the NSA Italia start up. Since then she changed several positions with growing responsabilities till becoming General Manager for Italy, UK, Ireland, Holland, Belgium and Spain. Recently she was in charge of the startup of Luxembourg. Alessandra is married and has two children.


Maurits Bruggink,

Executive Director Seldia

Maurits Bruggink is Executive Director of Seldia, the European Direct Selling Association. His main task is representing the interests of the industry vis-a-vis the European Institutions: the European Parliament, Council of Ministers and European Commission. This includes the education of policy makers about the merits of direct selling and the interaction with stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. Maurits has been involved in international advocacy and government affairs for 20 years in different positions. Maurits was lawyer at the European Union Office of Arthur Andersen & C°, Director General of the European spirit drinks federation, Managing Director at Brussels’s based lobby firm Grayling, secretary general of the European associations for the amusement machine industry and the casino sector.


Charlie Orr,

Executive Director, Direct Selling Education Foundation

Charlie Orr joined the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF) as Executive Director in March 2009. Prior to joining DSEF, Mr. Orr built expertise across a broad spectrum of industries and served in executive capacities with several financial services companies including CIGNA, Southwestern Life, Continental Insurance and Federated Investors. Joining Shaklee US in 1990 as president, Mr. Orr served as President and CEO of Shaklee Corporation from 1993 through 2000. Mr. Orr, a US citizen, holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University.


Benedetto Lavino,

CEO of Bottega Verde srl

Benedetto Lavino is CEO of Bottega Verde, an Italian company selling cosmetics, which he joined in 2002. Before that he worked in the telecommunication industry. He is Vice President of the Unipro, the Italian Cosmetic Association and Board member of Anved, the Italian Distance Selling Association.
